We are proud to be validated partners with

The Children’s University

This means that your child can earn credits for completing Blossom activities!

All of Blossom’s Ten Minutes Together activities have been validated as part of Children’s University, a national programme designed to encourage, track and celebrate children’s participation in learning beyond the classroom. If your child is already part of the programme, you can use the stamp code blue9232 to get Children’s University credit for taking part. If you’re new to Children’s University and are keen to find out more, visit childrensuniversity.co.uk/subscribe

Each Ten Minutes together activity that you complete will get your child a 15 minute stamp for their learning passport - longer if it’s an open ended activity and they can evidence longer time spent on it. You can find out more from the team at The Children’s University.

Blossom doesn’t benefit from any subscriptions parents pay to The Children’s University. We are so proud to be working with The Children's University and to have had our activities quality assured by them. Our association with them is something we are delighted about!

  • Children’s University began in the early 1990s as a way to engage young pupils in subjects and opportunities that would otherwise not be available to them.  It was incredibly successful in schools in areas considered disadvantaged according to national indicators and the idea spread. In 2007, Children’s University Trust was formed. Children’s University Trust is now a national charity that supports, coordinates, advocates and fundraises for Children’s University activity across the UK.

Historically, schools have signed up to work with their local Children’s University partner and children are then issued a Passport to Learning and a login for Children's University Online (CUO). Using these tools they collect stamps for participating in Children’s University quality-assured activities beyond the classroom. Once significant stamps are accumulated, their achievements are marked with certificates.

It has long been their aim to make Children's University accessible to all children, not just those who attend schools that are signed up to our programme.
