At Blossom we recognise that each child is unique.

All children with additional needs require different support and in different ways. Some are working at a higher level and need more challenge than their peers some are still developing their skills and may need the same resources as younger peers. This is the same for all children. They all develop at their own rate and there is nothing wrong with that at all. You will know what your child needs - if the support you need is not here, contact us and we point you in the right direction, or you can browse our shop.

It’s not always helpful labelling a resource as ‘SEN’. All resources will be suitable for all children at some point in their life - it just may not be at the same point as their peers.

For this reason, we don’t produce different resources for children who have additional needs. We would prefer people to be able to pick the resource that suits their child when they feel that their child is ready.

So, here are a few of the resources that we feel will be the key ones you will be likely to need because they offer extra support. Then we would recommend asking your child’s teacher what age your child is working at - they will know this from their assessments. You can then visit that age group and see which of the resources suit their need.
